so, you gotta love being told that “you’re getting to be quite a plump little girl” by one of your oldest church members on Sunday mornings, even though you’ve been on steroids off and on for about the past 6 months…shew gotta love good Southern Baptist country churches where everybody says whatever they want!
Reminds me of the time when Sarah came back from a very similar statement that was made by our great grandmother on Sunday morning by telling Mamaw she was old….luuurv you SD =)

The title in itself should be contradictory, however the two words unfortunately are not. As of right now, my father, grandfather, aunt and 2 uncles all have facebook. Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing to hide. Most of my family knows my lifestyle and the things I do on weekends, etc. and if they care, they don’t say anything. Hell, I’m in college that’s what it’s about. BUT, the fact that parents are taking over what used to be a teenage social network is getting a bit ridiculous. I can understand the aspect of wanting to keep in contact with people that you may not get the chance to catch up with, but does it really have to be on Facebook? Maybe it’s just me, but when a name comes up under people you may know and it’s one of my friends DAD’S, I get a little disturbed. And maybe I am the only one who thinks this is just flat out wrong, but I stand by my beliefs in that parents need to find a different way to invade their child’s privacy and possibly embarrass the living daylights out of them, as well.
Yes, I’m being a little harsh right now, but come on………
